It is always bittersweet to move studios. You are walking away from a space that allowed you to breathe and create and open up your mind and spill it onto the walls. But you are arriving to a world of possibilities. I've gradually moved from Ireland back to USA. My studio desk is a map of my journey - a trail of limestone chunks from The Burren, now accompanied by a collection of small smooth pebbles from Maine. Rocks from the west coast of Ireland, rocks from the east coast of North America. Separated by ocean for thousands if not millions of years, they now come together on my studio desk in Boston.
